The Economics Study Program is committed to producing a graduate profile as an Economist, namely a Bachelor of Economics who is professional, internationally competitive, and competent in answering problems related to economic issues that have an impact on people’s welfare and able to respond to global changes. Supported by mastery of basic economic concepts, mastery of data, ability to analyze and predict economic trends that rely on a quantitative approach, graduates of the Economics Study Program are expected to be able to provide recommendations and solutions for business and government circles. To achieve this goal, the Economics Study Program has received accreditation from ABEST21 (the Alliance of Business Education for Scholarship Tomorrow in the 21st Century), an international accreditation body based in Japan.
Based on the Decree of the Chancellor of the University of Padjadjaran dated November 3, 2020 Number: 1107/UN6.RKT/Kep/HK/2020, the name of the Bachelor of Development Economics Study Program changed to the Bachelor of Economics Study Program. The National Accreditation Board for Higher Education determines the accreditation rating of the Economics Study Program at the Padjadjaran University Undergraduate Program is “A” based on decision Number: 753/SK/BAN-PT/Ak-PNB/S/II/2021 which is valid until January 26, 2026.
After graduating from the Economics Study Program, FEB Unpad, the degree that will be obtained for graduates is a Bachelor of Economics (SE.).
