In accordance with the mandate of Law Number 14 of 2008 concerning Openness of Public Information, Universitas Padjadjaran has issued Chancellor’s Decree Number 1036/H6.1/Kep/2010 concerning the Establishment of PPID of Universitas Padjadaran to provide public information services.

A Brief about Universitas Padjadjaran (Unpad)

Universitas Padjadjaran or known by its abbreviation Unpad is one of the state universities in Indonesia. Unpad was founded on September 11 1957, with a campus location in Bandung. Currently, Unpad has the status of a Legal Entity State University. Government Regulation Number 80 of 2014 concerning the Determination of Universitas Padjadjaran as a Legal Entity State University was signed by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, on 17 October 2014. After that, Government Regulation Number 51 of 2015 concerning the Statute of Padjadjaran University was signed by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, on July 22, 2015.

PPID Universitas Padjadjaran

Information and Documentation Management Officer (PPID) is an official who is responsible for storing, documenting, providing and/or providing information in public bodies and is directly responsible to the PPID superior.

To provide Public Information Services in accordance with the mandate of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 14 of 2008 concerning Openness of Public Information, Universitas Padjadjaran has issued Chancellor’s Decree Number 1036/H6.1/Kep/2010 concerning the Establishment of PPID Padjadjaran University.

The current PPID Decree of Padjadjaran University is the Decree of the Chancellor of Universitas Padjadjaran Number 1079/UN6.RKT/Kep/HK/2022 concerning the Appointment of Information and Documentation Management Officers (PPID) of Padjadjaran University which was signed on May 9 2022.

Vision

The realization of public information services at Padjadjaran University that are professional, accountable, simple, transparent and informative to fulfill the rights of public information applicants in accordance with statutory provisions.

Missions

  1. Providing fast, timely, simple and quality public information management and services
  2. Build and develop an effective and efficient information management and service system based on information technology.
  3. Improving the quality of government administration through optimizing public information management and services.

Tasks And Functions

  1. Coordinate the collection of information and documentation materials which include:
    • information that must be provided and announced periodically;
    • information that must be available immediately;
    • information that must be available at all times;
    • other open information requested by the public information applicant.
  2. Manage, store, document, provide and provide information services to the public in accordance with standard service standards;
  3. Verify and validate all public information materials;
  4. Prepare documentation and test consequences for excluded information;
  5. Developing information systems to improve public information services;
  6. Updating information and documentation; And
  7. Providing information services that are fast, easy and reasonable for the public to access.
