Program Description

The Doctoral Program in Economics (DPE), Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Universitas Padjadjaran (Unpad) was founded in the mid-1980s as part of the Postgraduate Program (PPS) Universitas Padjadjaran which was founded in 1982. In 2009, the Doctoral Program in Economics was administratively separated from PPS Unpad and then was integrated into the Faculty of Economics and Business. Initially, the DPE had 3 main concentrations (BKU); Economics, Management, and Accounting. However, in line with academic and organizational developments, BKU Management and BKU Accounting formed their own study programs and then administratively separated from the DPE. In 2009 the Doctoral Program in Economics was divided into two tracks/paths of interest: namely:

  1.  Pure Economics, with two areas of concentration; Development Economics and Public Economics.
  2.  Applied Economics, with main concentration of Financial Economics and Banking.
