Grateful for the Journey, Sharing for Sustainability: The Meaning of 68 Years of FEB Unpad

Jatinangor, October 10, 2025 – To commemorate its 68th anniversary, the Faculty of Economics and Business, Padjadjaran University, held an event titled “FEB Bersyukur: Grateful for the Journey, Sharing for Sustainability” on Friday, October 10, 2025, in the Theater Room of the Lead Building, Faculty of Economics and Business, Unpad Jatinangor.

This event provided an opportunity for the entire academic community to reflect on the long journey of FEB Unpad over 68 years in realizing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education—education, research, and community service. This journey, filled with challenges and achievements, served as a reminder of the importance of gratitude and a spirit of togetherness in maintaining the faculty’s sustainability and contribution to the wider community.

The event began with remarks by the Vice Dean for Resources and Organization, Dina Sartika, S.E., M.Si., Ph.D., who emphasized the importance of gratitude for the journey and the commitment of the entire FEB Unpad family to continuing the faculty’s vision of “Leading and Inspiring.”

The series of activities continued with a communal prayer and a lecture “Grateful for the Journey, Sharing for Sustainability,” delivered by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fahmy Lukman, Lecturer and Researcher from the Faculty of Humanities, Padjadjaran University. The lecture encouraged participants to cultivate spiritual and social awareness as part of a meaningful and sustainable academic journey.

As a tangible manifestation of their concern, the event also included the symbolic distribution of several food packages to security officers and cleaning staff, who are an important part of the faculty’s extended family. This simple act reflected the spirit of sharing and togetherness consistently maintained by the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Unpad.

Through the “FEB Grateful & Sharing” program, the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at Padjadjaran University not only produces superior academic work but also fosters humanitarian values, empathy, and sustainability among the entire academic community and the surrounding community.
