FEB Unpad Successfully Organised an International Summer Program 2024 with 57 international students

Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Padjadjaran, once again, successfully organized the 8th FEB Unpad Summer Program on August 1 – 5th, 2024 in Bandung and Jatinangor. This annual international course attracted 57 international students from 11 countries and highlighted the theme of sustainability challenges. Dr. Ersa Tri Wahyuni as the chief of the committee explained that theme of this year summer program discussed the role of technology such as AI-IoT (Artificial Intelligence – Internet of Things) to assist company in ESG reporting compliance. Speakers of the summer program came from standard setters, ESG assurance firm as well as a line of industry speakers from energy company, digital startup and ESG compliance consulting firm.

 

Beside series of seminars in Unpad Bandung Campus, students from 8 Universities also involved in various outdoor and cultural activities. Activities of summer program include outdoor games in Tahura forest, batik workshop and also Bandung city tour. Students were also working in a team to make a team project of proposing a solution to address sustainability challenges. The best group presentation was awarded at the lively gala dinner last Sunday. The gala dinner in FEB Jatinangor campus also showcased various cultural performances from students included songs and dances from different countries.

 

“FEB Unpad is proud to host another Summer Program this year. This program is important to strengthen the relationship between FEB Unpad and our university partners. We are delighted that this year we have so many students participating from our international university partners” said Prof Maman Setiawan, Vice Dean of Academic.

 

This 8th FEB Unpad summer program participants came from Indonesia, Malaysia, The Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Rwanda, Gambia, Nigeria and Tanzania. The distinguished speakers of the event came from Indonesia, Malysia, Singapore, and United Kingdom. The university partner participating in this event were : Universiti of Malaya, Universiti of Sains Malaysia, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia, De Lea Salle University – Dasmarinas (Philippines), National University of Management (Cambodia), University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, and Indonesian International Islamic University.
