Three lecturers from the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB Unpad) were invited as guest lecturers at universities in Germany and Austria. Meanwhile, at a lecture held on May 13-18 in Germany, Budi delivered material on sustainable innovation in Indonesia, ASEAN and globally in an intensive 14 block session weighing 2.5 ECTS. This activity also invited a number of lecturers from four other countries, namely the United States, India, Canada and New Zealand.
According to Hilmiana, who is a guest lecturer in Austria, having the opportunity to gain international experience in sharing knowledge is very valuable for her. This allowed me to learn from diverse cultures and perspectives, increasing my understanding and appreciation of different educational approaches.
“This experience broadens horizons, improves communication skills, and encourages innovation by exposing new ideas and practices. Additionally, it helps build a global network of connections, opening the door to collaborative opportunities and shared growth. Overall, sharing knowledge internationally will enrich personal and professional development, contributing to a more connected and informed world. I am grateful for that,” he said.
Budi, who was a guest lecturer in Germany, said the same thing. He said that he had gained many valuable and refreshing experiences from being invited to be a guest lecturer abroad. Apart from of course strengthening international collaboration between the two institutions, through this program he saw the unique approach adopted by Osnabruck to expand the international skills of its students.
“Intensive lectures with a block system of 14 meetings during the week are busy but fun. Referring to the policies of the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences, this lecture aims to broaden international knowledge and perspectives for students by interacting directly with guest lecturers from abroad. “Apart from that, we guest lecturers also have the opportunity to interact, network and collaborate with each other,” he said.
