Universitas Padjadjaran Receives Visit from TSEU Delegation to Strengthen International Academic Collaboration
Unpad, especially the Faculty of Economics and Business, received an official visit from the Tashkent State University of Economics (TSEU) delegation in order to strengthen international academic and research cooperation. This visit further confirms Unpad’s position as one of the world’s leading universities, currently ranked 596 in the QS World University Rankings.
TSEU is one of the largest business schools in Central Asia and plays an important role in the world of economic education in the region. TSEU is the first business school in Uzbekistan to adopt an American-style education system, making it a pioneer in academic innovation and modern learning approaches.
In the meeting attended by the Vice Rector for Planning, Digital Transformation, Finance, and Business Management of Unpad, Prof. Maman Setiawan, S.E., M.T., Ph.D., Unpad and TSEU discussed various strategic plans to improve the quality of education and research, including cooperation in international scientific publications, lecturer and student exchange programs, and joint research projects. Both universities also agreed to draft a memorandum of understanding as a concrete step in deepening academic collaboration.
Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Unpad, Prof. Dr. Nunuy Nur Afiah, M.Sc., Ak., CA., also said that this visit is an important momentum for Unpad to continue to strengthen the global academic network and improve the institution’s reputation at the international level. In addition, this collaboration is expected to provide real benefits for lecturers and students in improving academic competence and expanding their global insights.
Also present at this meeting were the Vice Dean for Learning, Student Affairs, and Research, Dr. Adiatma Yudistira Manogar Siregar, S.E., M.E.Con.St., Head of the Internationalization Affairs Office (KUI), Rudi Kurniawan, S.E., M.Sc., Ph. D., and the Manager of Research and Cooperation, Prof. Sofik Handoyo, S.E., M.S.B.S. Their presence reflects FEB Unpad’s ongoing efforts in strengthening the international academic network and expanding global cooperation.
As a university recognized in the top 600 in the world, Unpad continues to be committed to developing partnership strategies with various global higher education institutions. The collaboration with TSEU is expected to be a significant step in encouraging international standard academic development and strengthening Unpad’s contribution to the global academic community.
