IKA FEB Unpad is re-activated. Syahraki Syahrir is elected as General Chairman for the year of 2025–2029
Bandung, May 5, 2025 – The Faculty of Economics and Business, Padjadjaran University (FEB Unpad) has again recorded an important moment in the history of its organization. After experiencing a five-years leadership vacuum, the Alumni Association of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Padjadjaran University (IKA FEB Unpad) has officially returned to being active through the holding of a General Meeting (Mubes) which took place on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Bumi Sangkuriang, Bandung.
In the Mubes, Accounting alumni 1999 Syahraki Syahrir or better known as Kang Raki was elected as the General Chairperson of IKA FEB Unpad for the 2025–2029 period. He beat out other candidates, Imbang Perdana Satryawan. The election process was carried out democratically through a delegation system with the active involvement of alumni from various classes. Of the total valid votes, Syahraki received 80 votes, while Imbang received 23 votes.
The election of Syahraki marked the resumption of activities for the alumni organization which had previously been inactive. In his first speech, Syahraki emphasized the importance of building IKA FEB Unpad as a strong, professional, and impactful organization. He conveyed a vision to encourage strengthening the organizational structure, expanding the alumni network, and active contributions in developing the campus and community. He also emphasized the importance of making IKA FEB Unpad more united and useful
“We are committed to making IKA FEB Unpad a collaborative forum that encourages real contributions to students, alma mater, and the nation,” he said. Syahraki also added that his party is open to collaboration with various alumni associations of other campuses and community communities throughout Indonesia.
Chairman of the IKA FEB 2025 Mubes Committee, Muhammad Ramdan, “After being on hiatus since 2020, this Mubes is not just about electing a chairman, but is a starting point for strengthening the FEB Unpad alumni network,” said Ramdan and a form of consolidation to develop strategic programs in the future. This event was also attended by various alumni representatives from the Class of 60s to 2020 who showed high enthusiasm for the revival of IKA FEB.
Secretary General of IKA Unpad, Yodhisman Soratha, was also present and gave his appreciation for the holding of the Mubes. He stated that IKA Unpad is ready to provide full support for the sustainability of IKA management at the faculty level.
With the new structure that will soon be formed, it is hoped that IKA FEB Unpad can become a strategic partner of the faculty in supporting academic activities, student career development, and being part of the solution to national economic challenges through research and alumni collaboration.
