Bandung, January 2, 2026 — Prof. Mohamad Fahmi was officially inaugurated as Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at Padjadjaran University for the 2026–2030 period. The inauguration took place during the Inauguration and Handover Ceremony for Deans of Faculties and Schools at Padjadjaran University, led by Unpad Rector, Prof. Arief Sjamsulaksan Kartasasmita, in the Multipurpose Room, Building 2, 4th Floor, Unpad, Jalan Dipati Ukur No. 35, Bandung.
In his remarks, the Unpad Rector emphasized that the position of dean is a significant responsibility that must be carried out with full responsibility and integrity, and is part of Padjadjaran University’s organizational transformation to ensure sustainable leadership amidst the dynamics of higher education. The Rector also expressed his appreciation to the Deans for the 2020–2025 term for their dedication and contributions to advancing Padjadjaran University.
These achievements lay a crucial foundation for the continued development of the faculty and university going forward. As Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Unpad for the 2026–2030 term, Prof. Mohamad Fahmi is committed to continuing and strengthening FEB Unpad’s positive achievements, with a focus on improving academic quality, developing research and publications, enhancing graduate competitiveness, and strengthening FEB Unpad’s role in addressing economic and business challenges at the national and global levels.
This inauguration marks the first step for FEB Unpad to continue strengthening its role as a leading and inspiring faculty, in line with Padjadjaran University’s vision.
