The Faculty of Economics and Business at Universitas Padjadjaran (FEB Unpad) (23/9) welcomed delegations from Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) at LEAD Campus of FEB Unpad in Jatinangor. The visit aimed to strengthen collaborative relations in education and research between the two institutions. The meeting discussed various potential areas of cooperation, including student exchange programs, joint research, and curriculum development that could be implemented at both universities.
The UMT delegations, consisting of Prof. Madya Dr. Mohd Izani Bin Mohd Zain (University’s Deputy Vice-Chancellor), Encik Yusmiza Bin Mamat (Deputy Director of Off-Campus Residential College), Encik Ahmad Hakimi Bin Abdul Halim (Residential College Fellow), and 12 UMT students from various faculties, were welcomed by Prof. Dr. Maman Setiawan (Vice Dean for Learning, Students, and Research), Dr. Meinanda Kurniawan (Manager for Learning, Students, and Alumni), Dr. Cupian (Head of Islamic Economics), Dr. Rudi Kurniawan (Head of International Office), and six student representatives from FEB Unpad.
Both parties hope that this partnership will broaden academic perspectives and improve the quality of education at both institutions.
In addition to discussions, Universiti Malaysia Terengganu delegations also conducted field visit to the Rectorate and Bale Wilasa, related to campus accommodation provisions.
This meeting marks the beginning of a closer partnership that aligns with FEB Unpad’s vision to expand its international network and enhance the global competitiveness of its graduates.
The collaboration is also expected to have a positive impact on both institutions academically and in research, while providing opportunities for students and faculty members to engage in international projects.
